It’s survival at this rate. I worked at Target prior to starting my career. I was embarrassed, but it paid my bills. Be humble.

Imagine having student loan debt and watching tech companies lay people off...must be so depressing.

More school and more debt...maybe a PHD so they'll have to call you doctor...then wait for the government to cancel the debt. Is that a plan?

I’m super excited. I’m 37 and i just got a full scholarship to a UC for agriculture. I also have about 4 paid internships lined up to do near the end of my program. The only thing I’m struggling with is rent or finding something affordable. Even though I am working, trying to do classes full time, I’m exhausted.

Ugh that’s my problem. I might just end up homeless again and i don’t want to go back. But I’m thankful for the scholarship.

i'd like to know what that mayor did, or thinks he did, or is pretending he did, to be able to make these claims. what exactly did he and his administration do to attract employers?

When I graduated near the financial crisis, my industry was basically nuked and the jobs dried up. So I went to grad school for a year and learned a new skill, and came back in a different industry. It sucks but this is what happens when the economy nukes your industry.

Advice to new Grads.. leave your woke liberal censoring ideologies at the door.. not wanted any more.. keep your political views private and don't expect all the freebies that once existed.. you're there to work and not be coddled or babysat.

What? There are fewer barista and restaurant server positions for all those women's studies, critical race theory, Neo-Marxism political major, and modern dance liberal arts graduates this year? That's awful!
