i’ve had my turtle for 5 years, he’s only a 6 inch turtle but i still set him up with a 175 gallon tank, with a bioactive habitat, and i made him a cave system in aquatic substrate that he loves to climb in, and for some reason he loves to burrow into the ground so i gave him a little digging spot in one corner of his tank

I disagree with the set up of the tank.Aquatic turtles tank should be filled to the top with a above tank basking area.

I'm pretty upset..my turtle isnt eating anything even though his eyes are fine.. I'm afraid what if he's got blind.. although I'm putting drops in his eyes..but it's upsetting to see him like this..i cant stop blaming myself for his condition

aquatic turtle need much more water than this! please dont only fill the tank up half way, aquatic turtles need the tank to be completely full of water. they only need a relatively small basking area.

They can swallow the sand and that can cause many problems. Don’t you sand if you’re getting a turtle
