How to take care of a Turtle? 🐢 RED EARED SLIDER

great video! I have 2 sliders aged 14 years. What I would add to this is to add calcium to their tank once in a while and a couple of drops of tank water purifier! Also direct sunlight is really important, I have sun lamps but I take them out to my patio every week so they can bask in the sun

When we got our turtles and were doing our research, it was said that it wouldnt be surprizing if the turtles dont care too much about you, but these babies (now almost a year old) are like dogs in our house, splashing water all around just seeing us (even outside of feeding hours) <3

We take our turtle out when feeding and put him in his feeding bowl and put him back when he's done. Keep his tank hella clean. We took a lot of things out of his tank because he is very destructive 😂😂

my mom plans on getting rid of ours bc we have allot of animals but i made a deal with my dad to be able to keep it as mine if i start taking care of it by myself so thats cool
