I used to just repeat same- “Apple just expensive... over priced, etc.” Finally decided to get one and realised they’re pretty great. Haven’t gone back since.

People choose iPhones in 2020 cos they are easy to use and iPhones from previous years as far back as iPhone 6s still run apps to go with today’s demands

Reliability. iPhones last for so long - it’s still common for people still use the iPhone 6 today

For me, it’s aesthetics. iOS just looks a lot cleaner and presentable in my opinion.

Because of :
- aftermarket service (excellent!)
- IOS
- quality

Because Android loses its smoothness very fast. I just switched back to iphone from galaxy s9 plus, was pretty fast for a couple of months. Feelsgoodman to be back.

The reason I picked up an iPhone in 2020 is because Samsung decided to trash Singapore by giving us Exynos 990 instead of Snapdragon 865. Would have gone with S20 Ultra if it had 865 instead.

I’m not going to lie, I tried switching to android many times in the past 3-4 years or so. I jumped on the bandwagon that Apple is for people who don’t know anything and so on. I enjoyed the Android phones the most for certain features such as vibration when typing, best displays on Samsung panels, ability to customize home screens and such...it’s not a big list, but you get the gist of it. Last year, I decided to give Apple a fair chance and went with the XS Pro Max...needless to say, I stopped looking at other phones and used the phone for a year...that’s a broken record for me. The experience was amazing in every sense. From the smoothness of the phone to its reliability and consistency. It does everything I need it to do and I have no complaints. My favorite thing about iOS is certainly that the apps look, respond and feel better on it than Android. My favorite thing about Apple now is the ability to use face unlock to sign into accounts and pretty much anything else without having to type in your username and password. I have also used phones such as from OnePlus, and the 4 XL, S20 Ultra and have truly never experienced anything close to the quickness, and accuracy of the face unlock, no matter the distance or lighting. Ever since my experience for a full year with the XS Pro Max, I could never go back to Android for the simple fact that iOS is much better than ever, apps look, feel and function better on iOS, and the phone does it all with no need for anything more. I just returned the S20 Ultra. Beast and beauty of a phone, unfortunately the face unlock is no competition for Apple, finger scanner is very inaccurate too, and overall my most enjoyable experience has been on iOS because of the apps, and things like iMessage and all the extras you get being on iOS. Of course I’d like more to the phone like a 90 or 120hz display, vibration when I type, ability to swipe away a phone call without pressing the decline button letting the caller know I intentionally declined, little things like that. They’re not deal breakers but definitely stuff Apple has the option to implement in the near future. I can’t stress enough how much better the experience has been using apps on iOS which is why I will continue using Apple. Overall, it’s a cleaner, simpler and more consistent experience for me. I have no complaints. I hope in the near future Apple can add some of the things I mentioned and also implement better designs like Samsung and OnePlus has been doing without getting rid of, instead improving that superb face unlock.

I love iOS, no bloatware, smooth handling even after intense use for years, trustworthy.
