Should you raise stomach acid if you have gastritis?

Eventually, yes. Adequate stomach acid is needed for adequate digestion and to prevent the overgrowth of unwanted microbes and pathogens like H Pylori, SIBO, and dysbiosis.

However, if you have gastritis, you must do 2 things first before trying to raise stomach acid or else it will be like adding fuel to a roaring fire!

Thank you so much 🙏 you are right because acid makes gastritis worse and not better we need to heal estomac lining first then add more acid later when estomac is completely healed 🙏

Low stomach acid doesn't trigger the LES valve to close. That allows stomach acid (to leak up into the esophagus). Even though it's weak it will burn up there, especially with repeated exposures. Hence low acid causes GERD / gastritis directly. It also allows the stomach protective lining to break down, especially with the aid of H. pylori and some other bacteria which get to proliferate under low acid conditions.

This is the best video explaining what to do and how to raise stomach acid, I’ve been trying to raise my stomach acid for over a year and still in pain but this makes sense. First I need to heal the stomach lining, I’m starting with the aloe, marshmello root and zinc carnoso me, hopefully this will help, thank you

Thank you so much for this video, you explained it so nice. I never saw any information about raising stomach acid with gastritis and that’s exactly my problem. I was tested so many times for H.Pylori, always negative. I have gastritis since I was student (30years), last gastroscopy showed erosive gastritis (I think mix for colonoscopy, which I had to take two days because of constipation, ruined it), because I eat clean, taking zinc l carnosine, chlorophyll, curcumin, natural vitamin C, DGL and krill omega 6. Doctor gave me PPIs again, but I didn’t take it. I’m trying naturally. Btw. You’re so sweet & gorgeous!

Thank you Doctor for explaining this so well. I have had issues with gastritis for many years and I have not been able to heal it enough to move forward with increasing stomach acid. Therefore, I am still unable to digest meats very well. Kind of at the end of my rope with this gastritis. 😢

When I read comments and someone says they healed this or that, sometimes I don't believe it .
People doesn't want to help people or they don't have the real answer those who really need help.
If I know something, I'll tell someone, I do alot of research on here daily for the last 4 years .
I do alot of reading comments. If you know the truth to the answer, then tell the people so they can get
themselves heal, so they can help people too . To many secrets going on and not the truth. which is a shame.

For over 6 years I am suffering constant abdominal pain, and then diarrhea, now I think I have vitamin b12 deficiency because I feel numbness ane tingling in my hands and feet, and also chest pain. This is may due to low stomach acid, malabsorption of nutrients is a problem. Please, any advice for this. Thank you so much.
