quick question....more of a jog of my memory.

e^x only does said trick when it is only e^x.

if there is a constant infront of x ...i.e. e^(4x) does the 4 not come down and take the recipricol.

My college professor (chinese) would always say "that is why 1 and 0 ruin your life".
