Blurting:

1 Review your notes
2. Put them away
3. Write down everything you can remember
4. Bring your notes back out and fill in the gaps
5. Repeat

You missed one:
Actually becoming interested in something making it fun to learn so that you just know the information

Highlighting is done so you can find the information that's important easily. It's not a way to study but it helps.

Personally, I find helping others on an assignment when they need (except if it’s to cheat on an exam) is a really good way to study something. It forces me to actively recall knowledge like blurting, but instead of a piece of paper, you have an entire person to blurt on. Maybe this is partly why I select my friends and potential lovers by academic ability.

I just wanna say I'm so excited when he uploads a vid that is universal for all schools. I'm in year 10 in the UK so like 10th grade I think and some content I find hard to use as it's about American experiences. However I'm so grateful that I found this channel as I'm currently doing really well and acing through my first few classes. Thanks gohar

I do a combination of like 3. I write my notes in a book, highlight the ones I feel like I don't really understand the most, rewrite the notes, not blurting still looking at the source, and then I blurt. Works pretty well. I have a small notebook for blurting, I legit just sometimes, on the way to school, rewrite the things I don't know a million times so that even if I don't fully understand by the end of it, I at least have the information printed in my brain

I have another study tip:

U should make questions of a subject .

Example- Your heart is the main organ of your cardiovascular system, a network of blood vessels that pumps blood throughout your body. It also works with other body systems to control your heart rate and blood pressure. Your family history, personal health history and lifestyle all affect how well your heart works

Some possible questions to this are
-how does the heart work?
-What is a heart
-does the heart have influence on your family tree?

So when you are done reading the piece of information, make the question

(Learned this technique from my history teacher)

Personally, my favorite study technique is to take a quick seminar, to my classmates, best friends or even parents! It helps me to recollect everything in order to share the information I have in my head. I live in India, where it's really common to take a seminar or presentation on-spot. The teacher would have just taught you a lesson, and he or she would only give 2 minutes to prepare ALL the topics in that lesson, and she'd call you one-by-one to teach a particular topic. This also forces you to pay attention to class!

My way of studying is odd and does not work for the first test in each class, but I basically predict the test and figure out what each question is going to be on and feel better since I am ready.

In some cases, I find rereading a note has improved my study in some subjects like math, chemistry, and physics. It's an A-tier in my book.

Pretending to teach and blurting are my favorite to do mentally; you can do them wherever, whenever, as long as you don’t have to use your mind for anything else, and it’s super useful.

To young to use these tips, but they sound great so I’m saving them for high school. That’s why I subscribed this channel seems like an amazing help
