I have ALS apparently, I wanted it to be anything else. God Speed to anyone experiencing this, I am ready to go to my Lord and Savior. This disease is absolutely horrific. 3 Years in, Lost my voice most recently. I hope you all can find something to save people like me someday. As for me, I am near my end.

I and fearful that I’m in the beginning stages. Legs don’t even feel a part of my body. Thing fly from my hands. Spastic problems in my sleep. Have had trouble swallowing from two neck fusions, however, lately I literally have to force myself to swallow. At 57 years old, I fear for my wife having to endure this.
I feel that the Lord is preparing me for this, as He put it in my head to search out what all of these symptoms could be. At this point, it’s pretty noticeable.
I will call the doctor tomorrow.

Is there any treatment in Europe? My brother was diagnosed with ALS last year. He is under the Colombia University Hospital ALS clinic. But Dr did not do any treatment. We are so upset. He is only 32. Please tell me if you guys have any treatment over there. He is in stage 2. Both hands and legs stop working. What should we do now?

I am getting referred to a neurologist the specializes with ALS....I am in a weird position in life ....this is going to take awhile to do I recently changed my primary also who is not a nurse this time but a real doctor....God bless anyone that actually has this thing....the left side of my body moved like crazy when the EMG doctor used his relex hammer on my left leg and primary hit my arm with her reflex hammer recently and I had no relex in my right arm...I dont have a natural arm swing anymore either in my right arm when I walk and it is also weaker I cant kift a gallon of milk anymore without using my left hand....got weakness in both legs now bilateral and get muscle twitches all day for 30 days in both arms, legs, shoulders, and face ....lately the lips but not as bad ...mostly side of face and with breathing issues I use a CPAP machine at night now....Got central sleep apnea mostly but also have obstructive sleep apnea....Got to watch my liver now also it is mildly fatty...when I worked I couldnt stand for more than 2 hours with upper back pain....I was putting fishing poles together...I am also not talking as good like I used to, I been breaking up my words ...especially when
