Overwintering Pepper Plants

Peppers are slow growers and usually they start to peak their production towards the end of the hot season, right before they get killed by frost. In this video, I share with you how I overwinter my pepper plants to get fully grown plants right at the beginning of the growing season. Peppers actually produce a bigger crop on their second year. All plants shown in this video are grown at local community gardens.

I over wintered 4 pepper plant this year. They just started budding. I’m going to hand pollinate and hope they get enough light from my LEDs to keep going. In about 8 to 10 weeks I can start bringing them outside.
