Pomona College presents "Presidential Dialogues: Cultivating Empathy in a time of Division".

Eddie S. Glaude Jr. is an intellectual who speaks to the complex dynamics of the American experience. His most well-known books, Democracy in Black: How Race Still Enslaves the American Soul, and In a Shade of Blue: Pragmatism and the Politics of Black America, take a wide look at black communities, the difficulties of race in the United States, and the challenges our democracy face. Known to be a convener of conversations and debates, Glaude takes care to engage fellow citizens of all ages and backgrounds – from young activists, to fellow academics, journalists and commentators, and followers on Twitter in dialogue about the direction of the nation. His scholarship and his sense of himself as a public intellectual are driven by a commitment to think carefully with others in public.

The Pomona College Presidential Dialogues bring together distinguished speakers working around our nation to share narratives that are often marginalized and to bring people together in dialogue with empathy and understanding. The series will include one-on-one conversations between President G. Gabrielle Starr and Professor Eddie S. Glaude, Jr. (Princeton University), Rabbi Sharon Brous (IKAR) and Imam Khalid Latif (NYU), concluding with a community panel discussion in the spring.

49:24 What motivates you decides how you will act. If you act in hope to reach your goal, you will reach it. If you act in fear of missing your goal, you will have many missteps. I like what he says about love and hate, I think love and hate has a similar relationship to fear and hope. Always use love and hope as motivation instead of hate and fear!

I asked Mr. Davis to run for Governor he is not obligated and he is probably thanking God he hasn't run for public office.

I'm saying why didn't Kamala Harris consider someone like Professor Glause as her running mate?

Rutgers University your ties to the State provided a conflict of interest that Phillip Murphy was all too happy to uphold. It's really simple your history of race, the furtherance of you are too big to fail too important to be held accountable is at play here and it's never been funny but it certainly is more apparent more than ever. These leaders have only one concern how many votes can I collect.
