Wow, I NEVER would have thought of relaxer!  But it does makes sense and we put it on our hair all the time!  Great tip regarding the coconut oil too, I've recently cleaned my Platinum Tools flat iron and it's not as "smooth" as it used to be when straightening my hair - time to get the coconut oil out!  :)
