Security concerns as Ramaphosa's protection services blocked in Poland

A diplomatic row could be brewing between South Africa and Poland amid the impasse over President Cyril Ramaphosa's chartered flight that's still stuck in Warsaw. It has about 120 people on board, mainly the president's security detail. Political Analyst Mpumelelo Mkhabela weighs in.

Prof with all due respect you are missing an important point here: this is not about South Africa's decline in terms of international relations. Both the west and Russia together with their allies still value South Africa as an important player in international relations. The first official state visist to Britain after the coronation of King Charles III was extended to the president of South Africa. He was given the honor of adressing both houses of parliament.
The Ukranians and their western backers have been pressuring South Africa more than any other country on the continent to openly support them against Russia.
What is happening is an attempt to humilate our people on the international stage.
The other issue which everyone including the anchors in the studios are missing is that this not simply about the president's security detail: even the crew and accompanying journalists have been definitely targeted for harrasment. The crew has not been allowed to rest properly. This is very very reckless and dangerous on the part of the Poles

😂 Macky Sall has Sénégal in chaos and dozens of people dead and he is part of a peace delegation. No one takes this these people serious. Are they going there just for the sake of it or they hope to bring peace. My opinion is that Ukrainians just feel pity and sorry for the delegation. Let’s fix our communities and countries.
