All flight plans for the trip to Poland then on to Russia & finally back to South Africa with all overflight permission needed should have been applied for and finalised before they even took off from South Africa. Clearly the people who were supposed to do this failed completely leading to this complete circus. We really are on the verge of collapsing into a failed state!

The Polish president goes shopping without bodyguards.
But the fact is that Intentional homicide victims per 100, 000 inhabitants (wikipedia)
South Africa 33.5
Poland 0.7

Really this guy is not the wisest there is. There is nothing wrong with the number of the head of state protection. If he gets attacked with his few bodyguards the same media and the people would call his protection a joke and him inept.

Consider that other, more credible news channels are putting the phrase "peace mission" in quotation marks, as I have just done.

It always interesting to read the comments of the settlers, it makes me wonder why they don't just go back to holland.

This is a diplomatic nightmare. I hope it won't be business as usual at the Polish embassy in South Africa. NATO cannot be allowed to do as it pleases. Racism is at play, they are clearly undermining this peace talks delegation by African states. What is the South African government doing about this?
