Turn render down to 15 chunks, make water flow south and break string facing east. Should work everytime

To all of you if the farm doesn't work, the water has to flow to the south, and you must use shears to break the string on the LEFT side otherwise it won't work :)

I can get it to work in singleplayer, but on my server, no dice.
Solved: Orientation matters and I had it backwards. Make sure your water is flowing East or South. And when I break the string I am facing east. Not sure how much of that matters, but it worked.

if it is too hard for someone to flip the lever in right moment then do it:
destroy string and flip the lever fast (everybody should be able to do it), then it will duplicate 1 time, not infinity times. But after that just destroy block with lever and then it will work

I am playing 1.20, but it doesn't work. I have it facing south, in one chunk, and I'm breaking the string with shears. Yet it only duplicates like 4 and then stops. I did it on my friends realm on 1.19.4, but now I'm in a different server, on 1.20 with some friends and its not working. Idk why.

I saw this build in Wunba's video and followed along with it and it works insanely well. Just in a few minutes it gets you stacks of string. I built it in my survival world and now I never have to worry about string again.

my water flows to the south and I'm facing east with my sheers but it doesn't work. It dupes likes 2 strings but stops afterwards

Is there a bedrock edition cause its not working for me with the water, it keeps spilling through the trap doors no matter what...

i cant get it work water is flowing south i cut the left string with shear but it gives me 3/4 string and stop work i have to start again every time

When I did it, it didn't work at all may duplicate 1-3 at times but at 1.20 it doesn't do it infinitely I faced it in all directions (N, S, E, W) and nothing changed I even looked deeper and saw a comment saying to break the block holding the lever and that didn't work for me either, can someone tell me what I could be doing wrong..

the water does not change its flow, it goes straight though the trap door placed like this, any ideas?

My problem is the water, the water is the same even if i pull the switch and open or close the trapdoors, the water is still flooding through the trapdoors even when opened

building by facing south means that i will be facing north while breaking the string and lever ? idk why i keep getting 2 extra string each time

i just try this farm in 3 type server on aternos. and working well just in vanilla server and spigot server. i dont know why but in my paper this farm doesn't work

im doing it so many times and i still cant do it, after putting it south, north, east, west and cutting one string it still isnt working
