My guess: He's getting ready to sell the property he wants to make it look nicer for potential buyers coming by but he doesn't want you to potentially jack up your prices because he's only going to be a short-term client. Not saying that that you would do that just saying that some people assume businesses do.

My guess would be that the client doesn't want you to know the house is unoccupied, for fear of thieves and/or squatters.
