I've been a Certified personal trainer for 12 years now and 90% of my clients have been women (that's how personal training is) and I was clean shaven pretty much the whole time with minimal reaction. I got tired of shaving so I recently grew my beard out and I swear to you it's like the flood gates opened. I noticed they all started flirting more, standing closer to me, texting me more and every single one started bringing me food and even offering to cook! And I mean women of all races. It's like a switch turned on. The difference is night and day! I remember thinking what the heck is going on 😂😂😂😂. This is crazy! This never happened prior to me having a beard.

Don't do shit because of any woman. Do it for yourself. Grow a beard because you want to and sometimes facial hair can make you look much older than you are. Just my take

Bro I look hella clean without a beard man. I gym regularly and I got a pretty clean sharp jawline. Whenever I have a beard it hides a lot of my natural facial structure. When I shave clean I get wayy better response from the females.

For all black men out there if u have a beard and get it cut down make sure you use peppermint oil if you suffer from razor bumps. Grab a rag, and wet it a little. Put 2 to 3 drops of peppermint oil on it and scrub your beard with it right quick. Do this everyday and if u suffer from razor bumps your skin will heal

Think it varies. Some use it to hide facial features. If you're good looking with a strong bone structure it should be shaved!

You just have to figure out your look. Most guys look good clean shaved bc they have a nice facial structure. Others look good with a stubble, full beard etc. Just bc AD pulls it off doesn’t mean you can too. A good haircut makes all the difference also

Plus if you have a moonface/higher bf like me, a beard really helps ease people's eyes and you can get away with a much worse jawline, but remember it has to be well kept and trimmed.

I wish I would have learned about this sooner. Didn’t try minox until 29 and grew a beard in 6 months. I definitely notice more attention from women but now in my 30s in no longer interest in casual dating and more focus in my career so it feels like a waste.
