Fathers don't automatically have rights to see their kids; If there is history of domestic abuse (against any family member) the Father automatically loses those rights. Also, research suggests that children should stay with their primary parent & that is often the Mother. Child support in many cases is very low; and you should also consider that the cost of child support is considerably lower than actually taking care of the child. Taking care of the child could be easily quadruple the amount. So if money is the objective (trying to get out of paying to keep funds to oneself) then paying child support is very cheap! If you wish to see the child more, I recommend building a better relationship with the Mother because Mother's all need a break! That's why grandparents end up with the kids so much! But if there are very challenging communication issues and post separation abuse; she will withdraw herself and the kids to protect herself. Fathers, look at how your behaviour is affecting the situation. Also abuse is determined by the victim and a judge and not on what you can justify.

Where can i find the part where in the beginning i never was contacted to come for the hearing\meeting to talk about CS and get my consent before they Served me papers to Garnish my wages. I never touched it or accepted it my friend opened and read it while we were at work. Due process got trashed? Plus i also was jailed a few times but never went in front of a "Judge" or jury.

Child support is basically about money
To get any visitation right or parental rights
You gotta go through family court
I know this because I ask the judge” what parental rights do I have for my son” she said that doesn’t apply here you need to go family court for that.

I didn’t find out about my daughter till she was 7. Her mother brainwashed her when she was 12. That was the last time I saw her. She is 14 now. She keeps jumping addresses. The court won’t do anything. But I have to keep paying child support.

What about if you’ve always had your child and always provided for him. Now that he turned 17 and she wants to keep him away by bribing him with drugs and liquor, the judge is making me pay $1200 a month because he chooses to live with her. That is after me showing proof of everything I am saying to family court with 50/50 joint legal joint physical custody. They let the child make the choice of where he wants to live. So it’s not in the best interest of the child

In Texas, they don’t care how much time you spend with the kid. And if you can’t afford day care during summer visits, they don’t care either.

I want to be there for my daughter but I cant I have not seen her for 7 months and I keep paying child support we agreed on! My daughter doesnt want to see me or my family and we sincerely dont know what we have done to her! I honestly dont know what to do but put a court order… from here till that goes through another 3 months. If i get close to her house she can call police and they will tell me till court order to stay away. Any one with similiar situation?

I’m currently going through a custody battle with my fathers son he wants 50/50 which we have agreed on and I have the right to designate primary residence making me primary but his mind is set that he won’t pay child support he says that because of the nasty texts that I sent him when we were in a relationship can this be a reason why he won’t have to pay child support and I be the one to pay it instead

How can I have the mother served for child support if I don’t know where she lives?

Can you request different judges if you suspect something? The CP of my children knows everyone. Plus CP's brother manages his payroll, so he can manipulate so that he gets payed less.
I don't trust anything anymore cuz of CP having a huge network
