We are back at the Rose Bowl Sea Market! I decided to go by myself on QUITE a hot day, but the sweat was worth it because I got some amazing pieces!!

Love the upcycled floral sweater with lace details! Vintage/modern/couture vibes all at once.

The interesting vest is made using a technique from 1930s-1940s sewing called Yo-yo quilts, where you make these little rosettes and join them up, sometimes for a whole bedspread.

The Disney skirt was definitely created out of pants originally! The Disney portions are filling in the gaps between the pant legs. I remember making a skirt out of some pink jeans I had after watching Project Runway back in the day. That's something you could DIY too if you have other pants you want to upcycle.

I miss LA flea markets so much. Haven't found others that compare. Keep the pink bow. It's presh. The knit crop is so unique! There were so many 80's and 90's gems ❤

As you may remember, I’m from Florida but we were on a summer road trip to California…thanks to you, I knew to go to the Rose Bowl Flea Market! I went with my adorable sweet fun California aunt to the September Rose Bowl and we had the BEST time❣️
It definitely got hotter the longer we shopped, but not humid Florida hot! 😳 How the heck did we miss the bridge and the heaps area? We covered everything on the left as you walk in, and also a chunk of the booths on the right, but we couldn’t quite bring ourselves to tackle the back of the area on the right. Next time, haha 🙂❣️It was SO fun to experience this place in person, and same for the Melrose Trading Post❣️😘 You rock!
