Crown and diamond knot

This time I demonstrate how to tie a Crown and diamond knot, demonstrated in the ABoK under 784 (sadly wrongly).

The knot, as the name implies is tied with a crown knot first and a diamond knot second to form...well the Crown and diamond knot :).

I really like your tutorials. I'm only a beginner but have managed to tie this knot and also the Long Crown and Diamond knot because your cord handling is so perfect and clear and easy to follow. I would love for you to do a tutorial how to tie the Broach Loop. I have only found one example of this loop but the instructor hides the knot whilst tying it and I can't follow when he jumps back a little to adjust his grip on the cord. I loved your comment about burning all the books. Cool. Long live YouTube. Thanks.

"Take it all the way round and back through it's own loop" is a much easier way of thinking about it!

I think it should be named the "Jeweled Crown knot", as it's a crown set with diamonds!

Lost this one about ten seconds into it. Dang. It's like seeing a card trick but you cant figure it out.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm more confused now than ever! Perhaps you could do it a bit slower, or with two different colours, or maybe I should just give up and take up needlepoint! But whatever the reason, I cannot make this knot to save my life!!
