Hi Tom, My name is Mark. I have Ashley's personal copy of his knot book. I stumbled upon it in Palatka, Florida, at an antique shop about ten years ago. It is signed by both Ashley and his son. It was a family copy of his works, I suppose. It is dated in the 1940's, as I remember. I would be more descriptive, but it is boxed up right now. I am wondering if you would have any idea, as to the value of it. It is well used, but in excellent shape considering it's age. If interested, I could email you photos.
