Honestly, I feel like people are overreacting when they say she's going to be super OP. Sure, she has an execution passive and a reflective shield and all, but she's also a mage with little to no mobility, most assasin ain't gonna have much trouble running her down . I still remember when people said Ambessa was going to break the game with all the dashes, and after a while, people already started to forget about her existence (she's also canonically boned).

Mel’s w can reflect an infinite amount of abilities so long as the skill shots hit her while the ability is casted (edited sorry just forgot it’s her w and wrote ult the abilities just that broken ig)

As someone who plays strictly ARAM, I can see Mel being a fantastic and OP character. Especially with the reflect ability. I am really looking forward to her release.

She seems solid. But very prone to getting dived on, with for once. A lack of mobility.
I think a Rengar jumping her is gonna be a very painful experience.

Shes basically a mid fiora. Shes definately not broken a very balanced champ but broken in the right hands. I think her shield should have the option to ally cast so she can be support aswell. Shes got mf, fiora, anivia, karthus in her

so for sure, she’s gonna be a midlaner duh, but I really see her secondary role being support. her reflect can really help peel for adcs especially against hook or skill shot reliant characters like cait and jinx, especially since Arcane buffs they received.
