BREAKING: Loot in PoE 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur is DEAD I Guess...I am prepared to get in trouble for this video, but as someone who is just chilling and recently hit red maps, the game feels great. The only bad thing about POE 3.25 is that my league starter isn't UBER POWERFUL yet, but I am working my way there. Let me know your thoughts on the Path of Exile currency crisis that is ongoing.

As always, a massive thanks to all my supporters on YouTube, Twitch, and Patreon. You make this possible, exiles.

There has been a distinct lack of currency dropping. I'm in red maps with harvest, strongboxes, alter nodes and all the scarab nodes and it is VERY much doo doo compared to the last few leagues. I'm not some mega juicer but I do work my way to investing maybe 50-60c into each map later in the league and honestly, when they said that normal players wouldn't feel the changes to loot they made to deter ridiculous exploits, I think they underestimated how much it would effect someone like me, who I would very much consider a "regular" player.

In my own experience I have never had tremendous luck with ground loot gear wise, but so far on at least 4 occasions through trade or shipments I've gotten massive upgrades. This just feels like a league you shouldn't do ssf on, but I do understand people wanting to play a certain way. As for myself this league has been massively entertaining, hoping to finally defeat one of the bosses like Searing Exarch or Shaper for the first time ever soon!

Never did any magic finding
Never did >3k affliction juice

Always simple and comfy alch and go with a few scarabs. My loot experience has been the same as previous leagues. About 10-20 divines in a week and working full time.

I feel richer this league than I have in a while. The ease of being able to sell weaker currency means I can actually afford things.

I'm just getting to maps now. So the only thing I'm hoping for is to get more blacksmiths wetstones, because I swear to god I got like 5 during the entire campaign.

I am a super slow player I am still progressing through the acts, even slower than usual because I have been enjoying Kings march so much and I have seen some of the best gear I have ever seen while going through the acts come from my shipping I am addicted!

Weird because my impression has been the opposite. During the campaign, it felt like more uniques and currency were dropping than normal, and I’ve been happy with the loot change.

This has been my dryest league by far, and I am not comparing this to magic find. I’ve never played magic find. I have done 300-500 maps straight and made fucking nothing. I think I totaled about 2 divs. Idk what’s going on, maybe I’m just super unlucky but it’s so bad to the point where it’s not rewarding enough to play for me. Similar to last league, I probably won’t be lasting more than a week or two. A shame too, because the changes made were pretty hype, but I don’t want to work my ass off after working a bullshit full time job and then not get any fucking reward whatsoever in maps when I get home. Yes, I’m heated.

I did notice but I appreciated it. Less loot is less mulling over which items to take and which ones to drop and less muling overall. The last seasons I was often muling items out because lots of good stuff dropped. This season I usually jump in a map, gather what drops and isn't filtered by my filter and jump out. And I'm done.
No break inbetween just for inventory management. It feels _so_ much better imho.

You could argue that maybe my filter wasn't strict enough in past leagues, maybe I'm too much of a loot goblin - but rn it feels very comfy with neversink semi-strict.

A lot of PoE players like to live vicariously through groups like Empy's. They think that what effects those giga-group players also effects them, when in reality it doesn't. So when those groups talk about how bad the loot is, these individual players tend to look at their loot through that same lens. This gives them a skewed sense of what's actually going on. This is when FOMO set's in - real or imagined - and they quit the league. Which *does effect the game and economy, * last league is a great example of this.

As someone who has played the game pretty much the same since forever, I can tell you - that for me - the loot is pretty much the same as the last year or so. I never have used rarity and the removed quantity stat. I also don't care what exploiters, giga-groups, and mega-juicers are doing, and I also don't visit the negativity echo-chamber that is reddit.

I've dropped 2 divines in maps and gotten 2 from Shipments, and I just barely did the Eater/Exarch quest missions yesterday. I've never felt starved for alterations or alchemy orbs, like I have in some past leagues. Most of my current equipment has come from Shipments.

That being said, I had a ton of huge items coming out of campaign. I had 100 life on most of my item slots, and very nice resistances. I never had an issue fixing resistances while leveling, or even while in mapping.

The league has felt about as rewarding for me as Affliction did, and it's definitely well above the returns I had for Necropolis. I'm certainly enjoying this league much more.

YES MAN running maps all day as every league, doing blights on top, about 200 maps and not one divine dropped, even chaos drops are much less than average

I'm with Reddit here on Shipment loot.
Its Abysmal at best!
I really need basic currency and i have VERY little from each shipment, even tho they're like 100k of value, which for early mapping is okay.
personally i'd expect 1 divine every 100-200k value shipment that takes 2 hours, and not some loot that i can get from semi juiced map for like 5 minutes

Very weird stuff is happening with loot. I feel like they have added a hidden system. For example, just after campaign, starting T1 maps. In ONE blue map my chaos res was sorted. Found plenty of chaos res drops in that single map, and am sitting now at 40% chaos res.
Now, still in white maps, the res drops are crazy. I'm getting T1 res affixes left and right.
There was also one map where a lot of spell suppression was dropping.

I don"t know, maybe it's anecdotal, but I really "feel" that the qality of the loot was buffed, most certainly for resistances. Weapons may be not so much, I don't know. But the loot definitely feels "weird"...

As a follow-up to my other post I think it's important to note another major factor in people's perception of raw currency drops, which is the previous two leagues. This happens historically in PoE after any league that has a lot of raw currency drops. You can go look it up. Now that we've had the two most insane raw currency drops leagues in the history of the game back-to-back I think it's actually double-dipping people's perception.

Quantity has been removed; yes. Some currency items have clearly been adjusted, those being Quality based ones; yes 100%. But I think the majority of the issue is that we are back to a "vanilla" PoE currency drop rate, but people have been condition to the 10, 000%+ currency drop rates from the last two leagues. It will adjust, it always does.
