Echo Night - Nitro Rad

Long before Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro, Fromsoft took a stab at the horror genre on PS1. Echo Night has us exploring a ghost ship, making amends with troubled spirits, and unraveling the mystery behind our father's obsessive quest to find a long lost evil power.

The one reason I can think of justifying the casino helping them move on would be that the workers want to see someone win instead of constantly ripping people off. Doesn’t justify the amount of randomness and grinding, but that would be my guess

Maybe the casino was always rigged against the players, and so, the spirits of the casino staff wanted closure by finally seeing someone win. That's probably why they make you play.

There's actually one other Echo Night game as well: "Adventure Player" on the PSP was a make-your-own-adventure-game utility released by From Software in Japan only, and one of the example games included on the UMD was "Echo Night #1" -- which was, I believe, a completely original Echo Night side-story.

Strange... The only "bad" thing about this game is just a quest? Wow.

Edit: I downloaded the game and is very amazing! But the BlackJack mision is just... Well, I don't even want to try, very hard.

This channel is so underrated. The comedy us great. And the chemistry between Jame & Brady is amazing. Also, the review are actually good, its not just "makes you feel like spider man" they are actually good reviews. Great channel. 10 out of score.

From Software made over 80 games, so when someone talks about them and can only bring up Dark Souls or Bloodborne, it saddens me

I imagine that for the casino ghosts, it's probably more of a "I want to re-live the moments of someone winning big and the thrill of it" rather than losing to them because they're more dealers than gamblers, so I think of it as a "reliving the glory days" sort of thing and getting to witness that "Big Win" moment before they go, but that's just speculation

I'm mainly looking at it from the Dealer's POV rather than as if they're ghosts from the Kakegurui anime

Also looking back on the Frogger reviews. If Frogger got into Smash and used the GameCube/PS2 era for content, how do you think most would react?
