5 deaths may not sound like a lot - but this village only has 58 people that live there, so roughly 10% of its population was killed. 😓

I’m so sorry for the lives lost in this small community. How devastating 😢. We live in a very small town about 60 miles west - it’s really frightening to think, it might be our town next time.

I was watching meteorologist Andy Hall on YouTube as he did his live broadcast. He covered this warning those towns to take cover as the tornado approached. He saw it on radar and described the force and amount of debris as the tornado hit. So scary.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all who have lost so much. We have family that lives there. And yes, they did lose everything.
Jimmy we love you all.

It blows my mind that the homes shown in the beginning were utterly destroyed while the metal building a hundred feet away is untouched. That thing should have just blown away in the wind. Absolutely crazy.

I hope I never get sucked into a tornado 🌪. Prayers and thoughts 💭 to all those affected and who lost their lives.

They did a good job in that small town for service. They got hit between 4 and 5 a.m and they had tree cutters to cut the trees off the two lanes streets ASAP. I'm in STL and it hit us about 8:30 a.m just a lot of rain and wind but no tornado.

People in these small communities need to establish a community shelter. People living in areas were tornadoes occur is to raise $$ and ask local business to help. The weather is only getting worse.
