I lived near Atlanta for a while and felt sorry for those in Florida when a hurricane hit. Now that I'm back in Florida it seems strange that I'm glad I'm in Florida and not Atlanta.

I live on a sailboat and am anchored in the north Bay and all I can say is that this wasn't as bad as Debby. Debby almost sank Rebecca. She rode out Helene like it was nothing.

Might be good to mention that P. 2025 intends to close NOAA and the National Hurricane Center, so if you like flying completely blind during hurricanes, remember that come election time. After all, the only reason the tragedies aren’t WORSE is because we have NOAA and the National Hurricane Center
