How to Find every leak in any airbed. Yep even small tiny ones. Mattress, blow up toy whatever.

Ever had a mattress that goes down over night but you cannot find the hole?
This mattress had gone down over night, but even a trip to the swimming pool to find the hole didn't work. Nothing worked until.....

I support this technique. I had an air mattress that would deflate and I tried the soapy water method and could not find the damn hole. Used this method and found the hole right away. To dry it I simply poured the water out as best I could, then hung it in the line a few days.

Yeah, but how to you dry out the interior of the air chamber once you are done? Seems like a great way to start an ungodly mold garden...

Brilliant solution. I tried all sorts but this was the only method that work. Tiny pinhead hole that was otherwise undetectable. Many thanks.

Brilliant!! The only difference is that I've personally use a little soap in with the water to make it easier to see.

Wouldn't have thought an air mattress would hold over a ton of water without tearing. The hole in my mattress is driving me insane!

Not the best idea to use when you have a air mattress with a built in pump. ;-)

Mine has a pump built in would I ruin the pump if I fill it with water?

Inflate your item completely…go into a completely dark room and shine a light…say a small flashlight or head lamp into the blow up hole and you will see a pinhole light shining out of the leak. I did this with an inflatable meditation cushion and found my leaks. Piece of crap cushion IMO.

Unfortunately, water is a no-go for air mattresses with electric pumps.

Problem with that is unless you get inside of matress completely dry, you now have a problem with potential mold or fungus growth.

I have the hole issue not my air mattress is the the one that has an electric piece. The air pump is attached to it. So what do I do?

Great...now you have a WATER BED! Lol… Good method though. It must be tough to remove all the water and a lot of air mattresses have internal, Built in pumps, that also deflate and I don’t think water getting into those would be very good.
