My hair is long and I always brush it wet, fresh from being washed. Just add oil before hand. Works for me

For people with curly hair we have to brush it when it's wet or if we brush it when it's dry it becomes puffy like really puffy.

I do all of them but I only brush my hair when it’s wet because my hair is curly. I am trying to get my curls back and brushing your hair when it’s dry damages your hair causing you to have split ends and makes your hair poofy and dry.

As someone with hair down to my butt, it’s mostly genetics, also ALWAYS brush your hair when it’s wet if you want to avoid rats nests…which are even more damaging on your hair then brushing it wet. Being able to grow your hair super long is a genetic mutation so this advice may not work on some peoples hair. And trust me it’s not the end of the world to use heat 😂.

Actually, i'm sorry to tell y'all people, that there is no secret.
Just clean your hair once to two times a week and cut your ends almost every 2-3 months if possible and if it still don't grow it's that it's your hair nature, and i'm sorry to tell you that but it surely mean that your hair won't ever grow more than that.

as someone with curly hair, we have to brush it when its wet as brushing it when its dry is damaging and will make it into something like an afro depending on the curly hair type. also ive been combing (i dont brush but im assuming its not that different?) my hair after a wash since it was able to which is about when i was like 6 months old.. my hair is long and healthy although this will differ depending on ur hair.

It's kinda strange how I used to have straight hair. It got wavy and now it's curly, but I can brush when wet and dry. I don't really know how, but I feel no pain and nothing bad happens to my hair. I do have curly hair, but I don't really have those nice curls, more like messy curls. But I'm happy. And before I end this comment, just wanna say I love your hair!
