I look forward to the Royal Society one day having a 24 volume collection of Brown Paper books stored in the archives.

I noticed it in Matt Parker's last video, didn't realize it had been missing for so long!

I'm the proud owner of the brown paper from the -1/12 video and it's my absolute favorite piece!

It never really occurred to me what happens to the paper for the videos and it's awesome that you've kept all of them.

I knew I'd seen this in the background of some videos already, I had no idea it was part of a whole project: an archivist's dream!

Lovely moment!
Huge thanks to you and everyone who has been a part of Numberphile! You've consistently brought delight and curiosity to us all. The brown paper is a perfect symbol of what this channel is: simple, accessible, no-frills, and an endless canvas to explore new ideas!
The internet is a better place with you in it!

It's amazing how a simple piece of paper can have so much sentimental value.

This was really a touching video. Just the care and sentiment for what many might consider a scrap of paper but is obviously so much more, proof of history together, of friendship, of shared success. What a wonderful and thoughtful gift, Brady. 😊

This isn't a video about numbers, nor is it a video about the history of the channel, nor is it a video about Brady's latest project. This is a video about a friendship that has endured for a decade, a kind of friendship where it's perfectly natural (obligatory, even) for one friend to embarrass the other in front of *literally* the whole world. It's really something rare and special, and it genuinely brought a tear to my eye.

Lol, love how the frame was wrapped in brown paper. You should keep hold of that paper too, and repeat the same thing in 8 years time!

The message on the back is really thoughtful, it's heartwarming

13 years? That means I e been watching from early days!! I thought I was really late to the math party, but maybe not so much!! Thanks for all the entertainment.

Brady, I love not only how interesting your channel is, but also how wholesome it feels. Thanks for so many years of great math content.

I hope Matt hangs it almost, but not quite perfectly leveled.

I might be out of line, but imagine scanning each paper and selling a compilation book for Numberphile fans as a niche piece of merchandise.

Didn't notice it in Matt's latest video, hiding in plain sight! This makes me happy :)

This paper and the one Mr Graham used to describe his number are priceless pieces of art that needs to be protected.

One of my first exposure to science YouTube (?) was the Graham's number video with Matt and Tony, and to think that it was over a decade ago is mind-boggling. And I've never been a book guy, but I made sure I had and finished Matt's Things to Make and Do in the 4th Dimension. I wish I had the time to start Humble Pi and this new one, but one thing that 13 years of life does to you is that now you're an adult with responsibilities.
