Onboarding is the process in which new employees gain the knowledge and skills they need to become effective members of an organization. The right onboarding process can make a huge difference in the long-term performance of a new employee.

Successful companies tend to work systematically during the onboarding process and cover all its angles. To learn more, watch the video above.

I literally left a role after almost three months. Bc they had no training scheduled. Left for a new role that has even more onboarding issues. They didn’t show me step by step how to do anything. By the fourth day of my first week I didn’t even want to get out of bed to go to work. Just to be overwhelmed to the max. I want my old job back that i had before these two roles. I know im not the issue. That companies are just horrible with training and a lot of other things. But im starting to this im the damn problem. This job doesn’t want anyone talking to each other, no cells on desk or can be used, management watches how often u get up to leave the room/bathroom, can’t even eat at ur desk. Feels like prison of some sort. What should i Do !

Vry effective vdo lecture bt as a professional in my opinion it is the responsibility of the top executives should impart to the new employee knowledge of strategic planning, creation of a healthy nd energizing culture, the energizing relationship of employees inside nd outside, observation from general interactions with employees, extent to which trust has been built into the social system, extent to exchange of ideas, enchansing proper Training Methodologies for skill development etc.in brief in my views. There should be clear cut policies nd welfare of the employees should be kept in mind.CSR nd HSE should be kept in mind nd praising achievement motivation or drive for the excellence in what ever they do, Awards etc.in brief in my views.Vry knowledgeble nd Informative lecture.Thanx

How does HR monitor work performance of non-hr department staff?

Working in the HR department myself, I don’t see the effectiveness of a pre-boarding and personally disagree with the pre-Onboarding phase. I would not allow myself to send more than just a welcome email with brief information about first day plan to a new employee, talking from a small company perspective. I do not think the company is entitled to expect a new employee to invest (or gift) their personal time outside of contracted hours to sit and learn about stuff they should actually learn during their contracted hours.
