Показать описание
This livestream is for anyone who teaches, supports, or helps others working with real-time tools, but specifically geared toward addressing the demand for Unreal Engine developers and how to train more of them with the right skills.

During the stream we talk with Lisa Tenorio, Head of Global Education for Unreal Engine, about the data that exposes tremendous growth in demand for Unreal Engine developers with real-time 3D skills.

We also talk with Linda Sellheim, who is the principal architect of the “Creator’s Field Guide to Emerging Careers in Interactive 3D” which helps to define the skills taxonomy surrounding this guide.

Finally, we meet with Seven Siegel, who brought us the Unreal Fast Track. We’ll walk through the core aspects of this program and talk about why this type of learning environment has been so successful.

I don't think there are many companies today operating like the Epic Games. I don't know anything about the internal operations but just at the speed they are delivering these new tools and giving back so much to the developers and supporting the online community, giving out assets and software for FREE and growing at the pace that they are is just UNREAL!

I'm 37 and still hoping to change my life by learning Unreal Engine. It's just hard to find the dumbed down version of learning materials. The entry level is high and just looking at the interface immediately freezes you overwhelmingly. But I still love the possibility of creating something I love that is why I push my self to learn it.

In order for instructors to legitimately use the program, there must be a certification program created. The CTE (Career and Technology Education) administrators measure the work done in the classroom on the amount of certifications earned in the course. Unreal is already integrated into simulators used in Career Tech. I am looking at using Matt Workman's Cine Tracer for Film Production.

I am using the engine for a short film since I don't have the cash for a renderfarm. very good option for artist looking to do stuff on their own, outside of games.
PS: I would not go to college much less get a student loan just to learn unreal

"since I don't have the cash for a renderfarm" - that a whole summarized point. Ironically autonomous car simulations etc using it for the same reason, but those people expect to have 100% scientifically correct lighting and shading, while whole purpose to be cheap. That's funny. But regarding jobs - it is much better than it was few years ago for sure.
