Love the full R9 gear even the footwear to his classic boots.
When would you say to use a wire rope if your confident in your skipping? Is there a benefit to using it over a pvc one?

Are pvc and beaded ropes better than getting a weighted wire rope? I have a lightweight wire Rx jump rope that I love for singles and double-unders, but they are difficult to use for learning other skips. I really like the handles and was wondering if one of their heavier options would be a good choice?

What is wrong with me, it never ever occurred to me that I could use a skipping rope, you see in the media loads of sweaty bodies in gyms etc... lifting weights or on a machine but I never saw someone skipping since I was a schoolkid. Just doing some research now and there are so so many types of skippers out there, I will grab a rope and see how I do. Thanks,

What mat do you use? And do you always keep it outside?

The ropes I've used get worn down over time until they split in 2. When a beaded rope gets worn down, and a bead breaks and falls off, will another one just take its position, increasing the time I will be able to use the rope?
