I do not trust price chart for the simple fact it is owned by a game store in therefore can manipulate prices fairly easily

Great video! I've been trying to get a full set over the past few months. I still need to track down Barbie Dreamhouse Party.

Oh, thanks, YT Recommendations. There's some more games to enjoy this great console.

YES, ANYTHING ON THIS CONSOLE IS BASICALLY GOOD.

The game was planned to be released last year but they got ripped off by the publisher badland games who took their money and never delivered . They lost 78000 dollars and had to pay for the game again a second time to have it release so that 90 % of the proceeds could go to the developer fund he sat up to help treat his daughter. So no quick cash grab or artificial rarity from them that time i am afraid.

This is gonna be a long post. I just felt like leaving my two cents. I don't see anyone talking about Wii U collecting ever. I'm very big on the Wii U and I have just over 90 titles. At this point, all I don't have are these games that are in much less supply....and the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 arcade stick....

The thing is...with these "rare" games on the Wii U, they may very well be limited or at a finite number but why would I want them? Why would I buy a game like Hello Kitty Cruisers?
Most of the best games on the system now are at bargain bin value. There are indeed harder-to-find games, but they are all pretty much absolutely worthless and not fun to someone interested in just playing the console. I dunno but despite having a sizable collection of Wii U titles, box bundles, and other special items related to its games or accessories, I just have zero interested in throwing any money on worthless games. Hello Kitty (which was for some reason ported to the Switch), Turbo, and Hot wheels have never been on my radar. Funky Barn isn't even rare anymore in my eyes due to how often I see it and nobody (but me) even wants the game and the Croods Prehistoric Party is the exact same release as it is on the Wii. The Wii U version is no different, save for it being in HD.

Some of the most hard to find games on the Wii U in North America that aren't talked about (or rather, I don't hear being talked about):

Sniper Elite V2--sold extremely poorly despite being a retail release, for good reason. It is not worth a dime in my eyes. It shouldn't have even existed on the Wii U.
Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper--didn't sell much better than Sniper Elite V2 and was glossed over at the time, despite being a very good release for the system. For a while, I couldn't find a single copy of the game in my area and had to buy it off of amazon new.
The Walking Dead Survival Instinct--Abysmal title that apparently only had one low print run. It is actually quite hard to find this game and its lowest price online tends to be around $30. It isn't worth it unless you find it at a Gamestop for cheap.
The Book of Unwritten Tales 2-- Nobody talks about this game, possibly because it is on every other console. The Wii U version I never saw in a store around me. I bought the last two copies that were at my Gamestop and they had been sitting there for two years as the employees continuously marked down the game's value with multiple stickers. From about $39.99 to merely $4.99.
Fast and Furious Showdown--Shit game. Shit reviews. Shit sales. Quite hard to find, but possible. I wouldn't buy it to play it.
Ben 10 Omniverse-- Some people have told me that this game is very rare and I disagree. It is quite available online, especially ebay, and I've seen plenty of sealed copies of both games in the series. There may be a finite supply out there, but for now, it is quite simple to find a copy. It's better than Sniper Elite will ever be.

Anyone collecting for this system may want to obtain these titles. It'll be interesting to see what happens. Some people have already tried to "pump up" Unwritten Tales 2's value. Again, this doesn't even cover the titles outside of North America that are in finite, limited supply (Ryu Ga Gotoku 1 &2 HD, One Piece Unlimited World Red). Some people mock the Just Dance games, but it seems as if Just Dance 2019 may very well have only had one print run (I can elaborate why). It may also be worth obtaining. Plus, Just Dance 2014 and 2015 came with Wii Remote Plus controllers bundled in both Wii and Wii U. While the original Wii versions are possible to find, the Wii U version of the 2015 bundle has...disappeared and I have only seen it once on ebay in the last anyone owns that thing and they are reading this, talk to me. I can't find it.

You made a good point early on. It is still relatively easy to buy most of the Wii U games brand new and still not pay a fortune, even if you do so online. The third party titles on the system reflect this the most. Assassin's Creed III is worth no more than $8 on ebay and the Batman Arkham games are similarly cheap. While I bought these some time ago, I'm certain you can do it now and still get them as cheap. Recently, I even found a new copy of Deus Ex Human Revolution, a game that you really don't even see brand new much at all, certainly not in stores. It cost me There's definitely no reason to go and buy 40 copies of Turbo or Giana Sisters just because they are cheap. For one, Giana Sisters is on three other consoles...and secondly, we are only speculating at what game will garner what value in the future. There's no true way to know what will happen a decade from now. Devil's Third could end up being worth less than ZombiU. At least you can still download it digitally. I think that's it for me, from someone who's owned and collected for the system for several years now.
