In 2019 the CDC was watching an increase in candida aruis in hospitals and nursing homes, it is a fast acting respiratory disease, drug resistant, and difficult to clear from infected rooms, even after deep cleaning and steam cleaning. The concern disappeared during plandemic, not gone just not tested for.

Unlikely ≠ impossible. You guys saw the beginning of episode 1. Even if that was a bit for the movie, that IS how physiological evolution follows trends. Global warming, things that can't survive the new ceiling temp and don't stay within ideal ranges, must begin evolving
