“About a thousand people” - laughably ridiculous. We were at least 100, 000, the line was two kilometers long.

Re publicans in the House have done more for Poootin than they have done for their own constituents back home. True story.

I'll share again something I expressed, quite spontaneously, when I first heard about Navalny's tragic passing:

Alexei Navalny has been reported dead, by the Russian prison system.
Upon learning it I was inundated with sadness, sadness intertwined with silent anger.
The man, more than I had been aware of till now, had given me hope for his country, hope for its future, hope for his people.
Hope even for democracy elsewhere, not merely within the borders of his own troubled home country.
I did not know him, but I recognized a valiant righteous fighting soul, from that which I did see and hear about him.
It was more than hope, it was also a belief in the sane and humane side of humanity that Alexei inspired, no doubt in more people worldwide than he ever even imagined.
This man's spirit, I believe, I hope, was never broken, regardless of the extreme cruelty and duress he was made to experience, and this man's beautiful soul, this is my belief, lives on.
We know there is a good chance that Alexei would still be among us, in good health, with his family, had there not been for one certain despot, one certain war criminal, one certain authoritarian that a certain other unwholesome (and orange) figure admires and envies.
Alexei has left our troubled beautiful Earth, but again I believe, I hope, that his strong, fighting, worthy spirit is shared by many, and has inspired countless more.
I wish his beautiful soul, love strenght and peace wherever he is, and I wish the same to his loved ones left behind.
❤️ ⚡️

Rest in Paradise Sir, you told the world of the dirty deeds!!! God don't like ugly, and he's not to fond of pretty. This earth is not our home, we all will be judged. 🙏

Rest in peace Navalny. I speak for myself as an American that I am ashamed that my government has been overtaken by our own despot who is pulling the strings of Mike Johnson, who now stands against the whole world while doing Putin's bidding. My heart breaks for your country and my own

I wish Alexi never went back to Russia. He knew this would happen but the people of Russia needed him alive.

Navalny has shown the depth of his commitment to the freedom of the Russian People. Freedom isn’t free. It is paid for with the lives and sacrifices of the heroes to their Nations. God bless Navalny and his family. 🌹🌹🌹

A clear expression of how little Americans care about anything beyond their own border is how few people have so far watched this news, even on CNN. In the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and throughout Europe and the rest of the free world, this is the number one news story today.

It's encouraging to see support for Navalny, highlighting that the Kremlin's influence isn't absolute; it's the people who truly own Russia. This underscores the limited tenure of the current regime. Russia needs visionary leaders who prioritize innovation, scientific progress, and humanity. This path should prioritize Russia's interests without resorting to conflict, which disproportionately affects the youth. It's time to shift from outdated governance that prioritizes land control to a more progressive, inclusive leadership.

One wonders how many people would show up for Rump or Putin’s funeral. From our thoughts to God’s ears.

You know if you get rid of Trump and Putin half of the worlds problems go away with these two people.

Let that sink in for a moment.
