I just completed this table runner, and my advice? Use a 1/4 inch foot on your sewing machine. I have always used the same foot, which had a mark for 1/4 inch, but could never figure out why things didn't line up just as they do for Donna (doesn't she make it look so easy!). But part way through this I remembered I had that foot so I put it on and could not believe the difference! Everything went together just as she said! I would not be quilting if it weren't for Donna and her wonderful videos, and things will go better now that I have the right foot on my machine.
