The issue with your theory is the fact that Most dumpers do not stay single. They either monkey branch or they date right away. Very few dumpers leave without a plan. That's just reality.

Lucia's videos have really helped me. When my ex dumped me, I immediately went into nc. And as soon as I wanted to call my ex, I watched Lucia's videos. It has now been 7 months since my ex broke up. And he has only contacted me once. Three days after I made a manifesto to get a text from him. "Hello how are you?" Two months ago. I didn't answer it and I knew after listening to Lucia that if he really wanted me back he would contact me again.
Now I've gotten over him, and thank Lucia for not breaking the nc.

Alright Lucia, imma stay as a good little soldier. 34 days and counting, still crying but soldiering on. As of right now I still want her back and I know for a fact that she hasn’t hit the remorse period yet and I realize when she does I may not even want her back but being able to move on without her would also be a major win for me. My ex left me for another guy a yr and a half ago. She was reaching out and sending me our past pictures the whole time. I didnt think i was going to ever get through it but i did. Mind you... This was my first heartbreak at 35 yrs old. I never contacted her at all. I heard she been in 3 relationships since then engaged to get married to the 4th. So I’m at work yesterday and driving, making a right hand turn. There’s a woman about to cross the street, and of all people, it’s my ex! So, I wave and motion for her to cross the street before I make my turn. We make eye contact and she gives me one of the meanest, dirtiest looks I’ve ever seen. It almost felt evil. Well it’s Day 22 of NC and I’m in control of myself and focusing on me. I know from her sister after we broke up (b4 NC) and that she isn’t interested in dating others. This all has to do with me getting a good job and proving that I have my act together. She doesn’t want to have to support me. It makes so much sense, which is why I’m trying like heck to get a great job. Once that’s done I’ll break NC.

So my ex reached out after ten months with an insignificant message about seeing if I’m doing good I responded 15 hours later with a short response not leading to a conversation or anything. Just that I’ve been good and hope you are too. Ever since then haven’t heard from her the past couple weeks.

I feel like reaching out to see why she reached out in the first place after all these months. But part of me is like ehh what’s the point and just leave it alone. (I was the dumper and she was dumpee since I got taken for granted but she didn’t want the breakup since she was being confusing during the “break” and had to walk away for my self respect)
