On ours, the spray nozzle on the tool was clogged. The little black tip, with the 90 degree piece. Flow from the hose was fine. We couldn't clear it with a paperclip. I drilled it out very carefully with a small drill bit, in my drill press.

Obviously, if you clear yours will a drill, you may void your warranty. To us, since ours is very out of warranty already, it saved us buying a new part or machine. We prefer to fix equipment if possible, rather than just buying replacement parts.

It would have been easier if the nozzle itself was removable. It felt like it was glued in place. If it were removable, I could have probably cleaned it with a toothpick. Working down a blind hole was harder.

so .. I don't understand the priming process, are you priming it with air? why do you take the tank out? is the machine on during this process?

Like a boss, the problem was the cap on soap reservoir was not engaging. Video was a good starting point!!

I bought this machine last summer and just got around to using it, so the receipts is long gone. Too bad. The deep stain tool shoots water in a huge arc that overshoots the area, and the tough stain tool won't do anything but drip, unless I hold the whole machine about 3 feet over the area. It doesn't spray. I have to take the tool off and squirt water all over, holding the machine up high, then replace the attachment to suck it up. I went through the steps that were shown in the video to no avail.

My spray hose was pinched where the vacuum hose connects to the unit. Removed 3 screws and pulled the slack spray hose into the vacuum hose with needle nose pliers.

I had a similar issue with hardly any water coming through, unit is new. Flow through tube was good, but restricted by the super small hole on the nozzle end (bit just before the 45 degree surface), even a needle wouldn’t go through the hole. My solution was to take a 1mm drill bit to carefully push through and widen it slightly, flow and spray is now good 👍

Our problem was with the motor housed under the clean water tank. The part number is 1600053 if anyone wants to order a replacement part.

I jus bought mine, pretty much all I learned in the 15 minutes that i diagnosed this machine, first the nozzle hole is wayyyy to small, i unclogged that to no avail, then i decided to remove three screws and dive in, what i found was a rusty motor that was conveniently place right under the water tank, with a non rubber seal too, so water got to the motor and rust took over and now im pretty sure the motor is locked up because after trying, i touched the motor and it was blazing hot, so im betting if I disassemble that motor and free it up with my fingers she will be as good as new

This machine worked for less than 3 months for us before the spray stopped spraying. After some detective work, determined the motor for the sprayer was dead. That is extremely poor craftsmanship and design.

Hi, my bissel spot clean pro broke on the plastic bit right were the suction brush connects to the hose, just above the spray trigger. I think i put too much pressure on the carpet while hosing. Is it replaceable and how?

I did everything in the video and it won't spray at all what do I do? I used a paperclip see if the tank was flowing with water and I primed it. It also smells like it's burning somehow??? Like has a faint smell of plastic or smoke coming from it. I've only had it for a year and I've used it up to 3 times this is really upsetting.

My Littlegreen Proheat sprays, rather, shoots fluid fine without an attachment. Once I connect an attachment, there is little to no spray through the attachment and massive leaking around the trigger. I remove the attachment again and a strong stream comes from the spout. All of the hoses and lines are free of debris, gaskets and O-rings are intact, and the pump is obviously working well. Until this issue is resolved I must remove the attachment, GENTLY tap the trigger so I don't drench the stain, replace the attachment and clean. This began approximately the fifth or sixth time I used the Littlegreen from a brand new out-of-the-box state. HELP!!!!

I put more water in it and it started going out. Not in a jet like in the video.. but enough to get the job done.

I hate the bissell little green, the hose and sprayer stopped working within the first year of buying it. Then when I referred to these videos and did what they said step by step it still didn’t help. This thing is made very poorly and I won’t be buying from this company again.
