Caulk Your Tub with Blue Tape Easily - Quick Tip

You too can Caulk your bathtub or any corner with our use of blue painters tape, a spoon, a sponge and a little water. Just make sure you have a clean work surface free of old caulk or debris.

Someone taught me to take a sharpie marker and mark the Top of the tube cut angle. Helps keep track of how the tube is angled.

You used more caulk in the first foot than most people use in the entire 11 feet of a tub perimeter.

Although I appreciate the effort, this method is truly a huge waste of caulk. If you are going to use the tape method, you should put the tape closer together so your caulk line isn't so big. The second mistake was cutting the tip off so much. "let's load it up" it's a good tip! 😂 🤣 And the spoon... I just can't LOL

Always add a little soap to the water.

im no pro, but i know this is not the desirable look and amount to be used. silicone, dip your finger in mineral spirits or whatever your gonna use. silicone is a dam mess I would vote for mineral spirits and or even xylene over water any day. and using water is only going to make things messier. That's one big ass caulk line. I did it the same way first few trims i did it, until i was scolded and shown how to do. Less in my opinion is better, but hey this will work
