Did you know that Lithium can be charged using an AGM battery Charger. Our lithium battery range works with most Deep Cycle Battery Chargers: Atlas Lithium Batteries don't need a special battery charger! ATLAS batteries are manufactured with a built-in high-quality battery management system -BMS that allows for most charger settings 20Amin **except flooded to be used ** A standard Gel or AGM charger is safe and suitable but will only charge the battery to 97%. The nominal charge voltage for an AGM battery is 14.1-14.4V, which means using a lead acid battery charger set to use the AGM setting will work correctly on your lithium battery in most cases. An excellent example of this is the Projecta Por-Charge and IntelliCharge series. These chargers have a maximum charge voltage of 14.4V for AGM and will charge a 12V lithium battery without issue. Lithium batteries are always shipped at or below 30% SoC, so users must charge the battery before the first use.

Cool. I don’t have to buy a new charger. I’ll use my old one. If I don’t get a complete charge I’ll update it. I have 2 lithium batteries for vanlife.
