The mayor of port city Mariupol is warning residents to evacuate the besieged city. Russia has officially launches a new phase of its invasion in the east. CBS News foreign correspondent Chris Livesay joins CBS News' Tanya Rivero and Jim Axelrod from Kyiv with more.

Mariupol: Less than 60 miles away from the Russian headquarters of the Russian Southern Military District (Rostov-on-Don), and sandwiched between the headquarters of the "fearsome" Russian "Red Banner" Black Sea Fleet (also less than 120miles)... it takes over 6 weeks (8 years of preparation notwithstanding) to conquer a single city...
