Running around in Capsule Monsters (Pokemon beta) maps

I run around some beta maps from the Pokemon Green beta info dump that happened at the end of February.

This is played in an engine that I made for the Pokemon Axylla game a while back, which never ended up getting used.
You can run around the entire overworld, but you can't do much else.
The swimming sprite is from the Spaceworld 1997 prototype.

I did slightly expand the out-of-bounds border areas of the maps, mainly because if you look out-of-bounds, bad things happen, and I needed a border to not let that happen.
Only the out-of-bounds border areas are added: the original maps are here in their entirety, unmodified.

5:45 I flash the debug screen for a little bit to show that it does skip frames when loading a new area (which doesn't show up in the video)

6:35 I enter a tunnel to an isolated map
There would normally be no way to get there, so I added a tunnel. The Gen 2 tunnel is used as it couldn't be mistaken as a Gen 1 map.

8:37 I enable a super speed cheat code, and promptly turn it off after I get to where I want to go.

You can see that these all generally follow the outline of the original games designs. I wonder how you got access to these...

No sound in this beta or some sorta copyright strike? Also were the exits programmed? looks like a mishmash of all this build's maps
