I am 31 got pregnant with 3rd cycle of letrozole. Don't loose hope, believe in god .

My doc suggested Clomid the first round. I ovulated late (cycle day 18). Next cycle, she suggested Letrozole 2.5mg, I ovulated exactly on cycle day 14. I didn't conceive however that cycle. I took Letrozole 2.5mg again next cycle, ovulated exactly on day 14. Yesterday and today (Cycle day 27 and 28) I took pregnancy tests. Both came out as positive <3. Just going to do a blood test to confirm the pregancy. Sending baby dust to all!!!

I got pregnant the first month of using letrozole (but sadly miscarried at 12 weeks) but it was also 1 month after getting an HSG procedure which cleaned out my Fallopian tubes with ink which were previously clogged with scar tissue. So I think the HSG and the letrozole helped me get pregnant. We will be trying the letrozole again soon

Great video Doc. I don't know know the chemical difference, but I think it just depends on the person. I had 0 response to clomid but a great response to Femara. For other people, clomid works better.
1 thing my doctor did tell me though was that clomid can have a negative impact on your uterine lining. Femara does not have this effect. Additionally, if you take a low dose of Femara and don't have any response to it, you can take another round of a higher dose on the same cycle without waiting for or a period first. You can't do that with clomid.

I’ve pcos n hypothyroidism and had no problem falling pregnant on both meds on first cycles but both of them led to miscarriages! Though Letrozole led to twins bt miscarried in 16 weeks and clomid in 8weeks! 😞 Hope to have healthy babies soon

Interesting because this is the first person I’ve heard of saying letrozole is the least effective? I’ve tried clomid with 0 pos results, now we are trying letrozole. I’ve heard nothing but good things and higher positive tests than with clomid.
