I know this video is a little old and you probably won't see this, but I'd like to say that Internationalists don't think we're all the same, but rather that we should choose how we are divided. Within a country, not all people share the same interests, hobbies, aspirations etc., yet they are clamped together under the national label, and in the occurence of war, they will be called upon to give their lives to protect their land. Isn't patriotism a weird idea? Being proud of something you did not achieve, simply because you are born in the same land as those who achieved it? Internationalism is about not being irrationally divided, and not about conforming to a standard. For me, at least.

Political Ferret. I must admit, that I made replies here. Before I actually finished watching/listening to your video. I totally agree with you regarding Globalism/Internationalism. I think of myself as being an "Internationalist", because I am interested in the cultures of other countries, and regions. However, I am extremely pleased that the Brits opted to leave the E.U. That governing body is an example of "anti nation states", and No Boarders, and the New World Order. Favored by the political and industrial elites. I saw a report, on the BBC, talking about how British farmers. Would have to increase their production, to make up for produce that would not be coming from the E.U. anymore. Wow.. what a concept!!?? A country growing and making as much as that particular country needs, with the possibility of exporting what is left over? Personally, I could careless if I could only get strawberries, during the time of year, that they are naturally produced in my own country. Also, I would be more than happy to pay a high percentage price, for products made in my own country. I'm not anti-international trade. If a country, say Germany, makes better cars than my domestic companies. I would have no problem buying the German cars, ... if I could afford them! :-) Otherwise, my domestic manufactured cars would be fine for me. In my mind, you may agree, the only people that really gain from no borders, Globalization, and The One World Order. Are our International Overlords, and their money grubbing, spineless, and corrupt political lackeys. Who created the world credit crisis, and arranged with governments, to make the citizens pay to "correct things". You win!! Yes.. it was the banks who were "too big to fail", ( why ? ), and they are still at it! They don't care, because they know that their political flunkies, will make the tax payers pay, once again. "Austerity", designed to make tax payers pay for bank follies, while cutting back on essential services, like police and Health care. Gee, lucky me, I can still afford to buy milk and bread! Sadly, that isn't true for everyone! :-|
