Difference between Globalization and Internationalization

Показать описание
Globalization is the connection of different parts of the world resulting in the expansion of international cultural, economic, and political activities. It is the movement and integration of goods and people among different countries.
On the other hand Internationalism can be defined as the principle of cooperation among states, for the promotion of their common good, sometimes as contrasted with nationalism, or devotion to the interests of a particular nation.

Sorry if this is a dumb question - but does this mean that Globalization can or will eventually lead to transnationalism, while Internationalism keeps states separate and autonomous? Or is there no connection at all?
