I just put my brand new Z Grill 10002B together last night and initial firing instructions and the Auger will not work. Tried everything by taking the Hopper off to see if there was anything in there, but nothing was raddling, like maybe a bolt or something, which I am 99% sure I didn't drop anything like that. I also used my portable hand held vacuum like you did and nothing came out. Not sure what is going on with it. Followed the instructions to a Tee! So I called Z Grill support and left a message on their voicemail and also messaged them through Amazon. Hopefully they get with me tonight and/or tomorrow early.

Have friends coming over tomorrow and I am smoking some ribs. But I might have to use my old Brinkmann Smoker, which to smoke you use Hickory wood and Charcoal. Had the Brinkmann smoker for about 20 years now but it is starting to fall apart! LOL

I don't understand the constant turning on and off. Why not just turn it on and leave it on to do the initial burn?

What about the machine oil that comes on the drip tray? Should I clean it off first or let it burn off?

It's the grease pan you removed not the heat oan

Question….I usually vacuum out all the pellets from the hopper. Should also the burn out the rest of the pellets in the hopper? Or can I just leave them in there until the next time? And at the end of the season burn off the rest?
