I heard a theory that claims it’s possible. Even the grandfather paradox is possible. Because even though you went into the “past” it’s still your future technically. And when you kill your grandfather, you’ve created this seperate universe in which these events have happened. And you’re now living in a universe that’s based off those actions. There’s still the original universe where your grandfather is alive and your father is alive and you are alive. Then there’s the second universe in which you’ve hopped backwards in time, and killed your grandfather, but you were already born so it’s not like you would just vanish. You’ve just created an alternate universe in which your grandfather has a grandson who later travels back in time and shoots him, but this is still in “your future”
