When it comes to gifts and support it really does depend since there is a variety. Like someone gifting you card is not the same as someone probidigg by jewelry or something more romantic. Good friend gifts are like not so expensive perfumes and cologne, charms for charm bracelets, anime gifts are usually safe, and snacks too.

As for support, it’s tricky it depends what they’re supporting and how they’re doing it reassuring someone in a moment is something anyone can do, if it’s the physical type it depends on how they’re doing it if it looks like they’re cuddling it’s extreme but if they’re rubbing their back as they cry over something I don’t think that’s too much depending on if it’s an ex or not.
