The 809 is one of my favorites. I didn't like the small size of it at first, but as I wore it more I came to really appreciate it. Definitely something I would have worn while deployed, if I had known about it back then.

I've been in the hobby for a whopping two weeks now and just got my Seiko 5 SNK809 this last Friday. I absolutely love it. Looks great. Feels great and it's just fun to look at! Lots of features and GREAT craftsmanship without emptying the bank!

I bought one of these as my first Automatic and I loved it. Well, as my collection grew, this watch got less and less wriat time. Fast forward to June 7th and I needed to pick a watch to wear for my 2 week drill with the Army over the Summer. I couldn't find my go-to G Shock so, I busted this bad boy out on an olive drab NATO. It held up beautifully to the Infantry lifestyle and didn't skip a beat lol.

Bonjour T3, this watch dial is also the perfect one to teach a kid to read analog time display, short hand = hours, long hand = minutes, can't be more clear IMO.

Got a SNK809 as my first automatic a few months ago, and it has pretty much stayed on my wrist since then. It looks very nice and it works.

The SNK809 was my first Seiko, I adore this watch. I have multiple NATO straps I swap out on it regularly for day to day wearing. Lovely little watch!

This was my first modern automatic and on my 8.25" wrist it works just great! The it on a nato strap and it is a great watch! I still break it out from time to time.

I've got the SNK805 myself and wear it often. Simple and smart looking. Day/Date is a huge YES for me. Minutes on the outside, hours on the inside. Nice touch.

I know I'm late, just started mt watch journey. Got mine as a gift to myself for a promotion. I didn't understand the mechanical-automatic love people had. I set it snd watching the hand sweep, and just the soul my snk805 (green). I instantly got it. My watch collection started with a citizen promaster diver (green). Looking at a hamilton. i got an snk803 and bought a blue alligator strap for it. the cream matches the underside of the strap and looks interesting and it’s small enough to be low key. 👌🏽
