My daughter would not be the talented genius she is today if she did not have dyslexia, so I am proud of the person she is! And I hope I can get the support to continue to homeschool her away from our awful bullying society!

Message for Holly, share your wonderful art with us. Dyslexia is not a disability but an amazing creative talent. Society discriminates against dyslexia because dyslexics do not have the same sponge like memories as others. Steven Spielberg is dyslexic as well as many other famous people and he is a total genius! Be proud to be different.

LD.org has great new resources. However, I am concerned about the fact that the Learning Disabilities Association of America was not listed under resources as an advocacy group and/or as a place to get information about Learning Disabilities. LDAA can refer parents and professionals to state resources that can be helpful. In addition, many states have their own conferences so that parents and professionals can get in person information and resources.
