WHO AM I?

A fancy term for coming up with inputs (prompts) for large language models that produce outputs you want. You’ve seen this being done with ChatGPT, where ChatGPT will refuse to do something, and then people will use a different prompt to get ChatGPT to answer the question. ChatGPT itself is also the result of some prompt engineering, it’s a large language model that was given a certain prompt so that it acts like a chatbot. Sydney, Bing’s AI assistant, also has a prompt. The whole goal of prompt engineering is guiding these large language models to do exactly what you want when the models by themselves are really bad at doing it.

I found a role in GPT Prompt Engineering in a recent job fair. When attended the interview for the role I came to know that they are looking for people who used GPT API in the applications i.e. those who are able to integrate GPT into a given application, that is the major responsibility of the given role of GPT prompt engineer apart from just prompting the ChatGPT or Bart and being Updated on the matter😅
